Inspired by the traditional Hawaiian art of ‘ohe kāpala and the vibrant hue of ‘ōlena (Hawaiian turmeric), I built a visual system that honors ancestral practices while guiding users through a modern, intuitive interface. Every element—from the geometric patterns to the color palette—was crafted to make the website feel like a natural extension of the logo and the nonprofit’s mission to nurture cultural empowerment and indigenous knowledge.
